Story of Carlos & Pepes

The first Mexican restaurant opens its doors on Peel Street in Montreal in 1984 and became a tourist landmark appreciated by all its visitors.

Foodtastic got a hold of Carlos & Pepe’s in order to make it the Mexican destination of the country and to continue the 30 year tradition it had already established. The team continues to evolve the product by introducing surf bars, tiki bars, and the first all-in-one Mexican sports bar.

Since opening, the new restaurants in the Centropolis of Laval and Vaudreuil-Dorion were instant successes. The festive, explosive and adventurous concept allows clients to choose Carlos & Pepe’s to celebrate many occasions.

After hiring two Mexican chefs during a trip to Mexico, we were able to finalize a Mexican cuisine rich in flavour and texture, which gives it a unique character. It emphasizes corn, which is one of the base ingredients, avocado, tomatoes, and of course, peppers, that give it such spiciness. Enjoy our meals with a glass of tequila and our mariachi band and you will have the impression of being in Mexico.

With the bar being taken as seriously as the kitchen, we offer the vastest selection of tequila in the province, margaritas, cocktails, as well as over 20 types of beer on tap, which allows the adults to taste the flavors of the south and celebrate like only Mexicans know how.
