History of La Chambre

It’s March 2013. Eleven “boys” in a hockey locker room, helmets and shoulder pads off, each holding a beer and reflecting on the effort and team harmony during the game that just ended. We’re talking, having a drink, and no one wants to leave; we can sense the feelings of satisfaction and brotherhood that were rampant in the room. All that was missing to make this moment perfect was a comforting meal, and a tv to watch the Habs game.

It was at this precise moment that the idea for Bistro La Chambre à Éric Champoux was born; wanting to extend the mutual pleasure felt after a great “game” between buds. The first location was opened in a locale in Vieux Terrebonne. It’s 30 place capacity quickly became insufficient, but served as a launchpad for what was to come …
