OUR ROOTS

Bācaro Pizzeria, true to its name is a Venetian style neighbourhood restaurant, offering a casual place to meet for a quick bite or a simple drink to celebrate great food and good friends.

After a visit to Venice, our chefs were inspired by the quaint experience of the local neighbourhood pizzerias. They fell in love with the unique flavour combinations using fresh and local ingredients; and meticulously mastered the preparation of light airy dough. Bācaro has the ambiance and charm of a local eatery, with a promise of offering the best pizza, bringing the savours of Italy to a neighbourhood near you.

Our Concept

I AM PIZZATERIAN

Bācaro pizzeria is the perfect spot for a 5 à 7 or evening social drink. Each wine was chosen to pair perfectly with our traditional Italian dishes; while also offering a unique selection of local and imported beers.

Our welcoming ambiance with our open concept kitchen compliments the cool casual design. Bācaro is the perfect spot for a fun meal amongst friends, or a quick bite with the family. As your local eatery, Bācaro is available on-the-go, with speedy delivery or pick up in store, dinner plans have never been so easy.

LOCAL PIZZERIA

Our menu is created with fresh, quality local and imported ingredients. We use the best Italian ingredients from DOP burrata, San Marzano tomatoes, fior di latte cheese, and all our sauces are homemade to pay tribute to the traditional recipes. Always a favorite lunch spot, Bacaro offers a simple and delicious lunch menu, sure to leave you longing for an extra slice of pizza.

Our pizzas and focaccia are made with our homemade dough, which promises to give a deliciously crisp airy texture. Our chefs’ attention to detail is behind our delicate homemade raviolis and gnocchi, sautéed in a homemade sauce emphasizing the freshness of each dish.

Committed to offering an exceptional experience, a Bācaro favorite, our homemade pasta dishes tossed in our aged Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese-wheel a dish so flavourful it will leave a lasting impression.

Lest we forget desserts, our chefs have created a menu featuring decadent Nutella options from fritters, to cakes; and of course an Italian staple, gelato. Keeping true to the flavours of Italy, compliment your meal with Illy Espresso coffee, the perfect end to an indulgent meal.

Franchise Conditions


  • One time franchise fee $30,000
  • Unencumbered cash required of $300,000 – $350,000
  • Projected cost: $850,000- $1,000,000
  • Royalty fee: 5% of gross sales
  • National Advertising Fund: 2% of gross sales
  • Local advertising 1% of gross sales

  • Locations across Canada
  • Trade area of minimum 50,000 population
  • Shopping centers, entertainment centers, free standing buildings in power centers, street locations
  • Urban and suburban locations as well as downtown corridor
  • 2,500 to 3,500 square feet or more patio
  • High Traffic counts and ample parking
  • New builds or retro fit
